What we particularly like about this lift
The Elan's rail is the narrowest on the market and can be installed with its outer edge just 127mm from the wall.
This lift is neat with simple lines and a neutral two tone colour scheme. Like all our stairlifts this lift is easy to operate. It can be fitted with a variety of powered options, which may be added at any time, making this a very adaptable stairlift.
Generous and adjustable
The wide seat of the Elan stairlift is both generous and well made, adding to a feeling of security. The seat height is adjustable to suit the individual user with a weight capacity of 136kg (21st)
Parking
The Elan has a continuous charge strip along the entire rail, so the batteries can charge regardless of where the lift is parked. By using the remote control the stairlift can be parked anywhere on the rail. This helpful feature is not unique to this lift, but unlike some of it imatators, the American makers, appear to have got this right as the system works well and is trouble free over many years.
